The Roundup offers a customized performance of The Roundup Radio Roadshow. We provide an evening's entertainment in the form of a LIVE variety show (think Hee-Haw meets Prairie Home Companion and they go out for drinks with Roy Rogers). This show will be held in venues around the Northern Michigan region and the bill of performers will be different each time.

Each live show will consist of the house band, Sour Mash, and guest musical artists playing songs in 1-2 song segments.

To fill in around the edges we have a collection of filler segments, including 2 pages, a spoken word segment where a guest will read "2 pages of something". This spot is often filled with an author performing their own work.

There's also the Roundup Repertory Company performances, which offer dramatic scenes or short sketches.

A crowd favorite segment is the Longest Drive Contest, the person hailing from furthest away wins a fabulous prize. We've had winners from Austrailia, China, Wales and other far flung regions.

Another fun aspect of each live show is Snacktime, a little snack for the audience, provided by a local vendor. We'll briefly introduce the snack and the providers.

The evening’s performance will be digitally recorded and edited post-production, broadcast and produced into podcasts at Roundupontheradio.com.
