The Roundup Radio Show

Cedar, Michigan and Perdido Key, Florida--

 

The Roundup Radio Program will tape an episode of their popular public radio program at the weekly open mic night held at the famed Flora-Bama Lounge, Package, and Oyster Bar in Perdido Key, Florida. The March 31, 2014 Open Mic event will be recorded and edited to create a Roundup On The Road Special Edition of the show and distributed for broadcast by the Roundup Radio Show. The Open Mic show begins at 5:00 p.m. Performers are encouraged to arrive early.

 

The Roundup Radio Show can be found online at www.roundupontheradio.com or on Facebook at Roundup Radio Show. The Roundup is dedicated to capturing live performances for radio broadcast. Each week, the show tapes an open mic episode from the Hayloft Inn in Traverse City, Michigan. Every Thursday at 8:00 p.m. the show records open mic performances with a single condenser microphone. The intimate setting offers fine sound quality and connected performances for an appreciative live audience. The Flora-Bama has found it's way into a broad swathe of popular culture. An enduring tradition, this lounge straddling the Florida/Alabama border has played host to multitudes of talented musicians and offers multiple stages nightly.
